Resolution #1: Add more veggies to meals! So I have been enjoying many green monster smoothies for breakfast. I am trying to incorporate veggies into the three main meals and use fruit as a morning/afternoon snack.
Resolution #2: Take Bows for one walk per day or make her play. I know she's going to be 13, but everyone needs a little exercise.
Resolution #3: Only purchase one clothing item per month (that does not include necessities like underwear, socks). I have so many clothes, but I tend to wear the same outfits each week. This year I resolve to wear all of the clothes I own and if I do not by the end of 2012, I will get rid of them.
Resolution #4: Become more educated on government. My husband loves to argue politics, and this year I resolve to be able to debate him from my political perspective. :-) I am trying to get educated on all sides of the issues, so I went with him to hear Rick Santorim speak this weekend. I tend to like issues on both conservative and liberal sides.
Resolution #5: Get to know my community. This weekend my friend Rebecca and her three boys, and I explored the skywalks of downtown. We saw neat art, met a few nice security officers, and got a good workout. I plan to make a list of things I want to visit in 2012. It will include the new museum, the art center, restaurants, parks, and walking trails to name a few.
