Winter Wonderland

Today I woke up to a winter wonderland. There was a light dusting of snow on the ground and when I left for work it started to snow again.  It was very picture-esque in my neighborhood.  (Although my car really needs to be washed so we could use a few dry days.)

This has been a busy week.  Here are a few highlights:
  • I attended Henry Trysla's funeral. Henry was the former editor of the Star newspaper and a true journalist. I enjoyed getting to know him during my 4 years at the Star.  This was my first time attending a full Catholic mass and communion at a funeral and man was it a bit longer than my usual Presbyterian funerals.
  • I went to the gym Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday and totalled 17.8 miles on the treadmill/bike/stair stepper.  (And there is cable at the gym so I enjoy watching TLC and Lifetime.)
  • Steph and I worked on a craft project and she made tator tot casserole for dinner.  We rotate whose house we have dinner at every few weeks.
  • Junior League project development voting. I am excited for the 2012-13 League year!
  • Matthew and I had a lunch date at Golden Bowl. Yummy veggie lo mein!
  • Bows got a bath. No more stinky dog.
  • Two friend dates planned -- one tonight and one tomorrow.
Have a great weekend!
