More birthday fun stuff to report. On Sunday, Steph and her dog Simon came over for dinner. I made minestrone soup, cinnamon rolls from scratch and whole-wheat beer bread for dinner. Nellie made a new bff with Simon.
By the end of the night, Bows was asleep in her bed and Simon was asleep on Betsy's lap.
Monday morning Betsy and Nellie helped me begin to paint the kitchen. Nellie is a pro-roller. Betsy and I did little things like trimming and rolling small areas. (Please excuse the mess that is my kitchen.)
Then we had lunch with Ann at Jitters (forgot to take a picture!) and frozen yogurt at Peachwave. Yum!
It was so cold I kept my coat on, but I could eat frozen yogurt any day any time.
I had a great birthday weekend and am so glad I got to spend it with friends!
