Graham had his four month check-up last Friday. He weighs 16 lbs. 10 oz. and is 27 inches long. He is in the 70th percentile for his head/height/weight, so he has slowed down a bit on his growing. He is currently wearing 9-12 month onsies and 9 month shorts and pants.
Graham really missed his dad last week, but they are making up for lost time by staying home together every day. Matthew even has a routine down. Graham wakes up/eats then they read books. Then Graham takes a two-hour morning nap and gets up around noon to watch Matthew eat lunch and Graham gets a bottle. Then they play some more and Graham takes another two-hour nap in the afternoon. By that time I am usually home and I nurse Graham then we make dinner and play until bath and bedtime, which is 7:30-8 p.m. I can definitely tell Graham is in a better mood when he gets plenty of naps.
Graham is becoming more and more interactive. He loves to look around when being held and sometimes during nursing he has to stop and see if anything is going on. Usually Tootsie is making some kind of noise.
Everything goes into the mouth, including his new favorite toy Mr. Owl from Michelle and Christian. He loves the crinkle sound the owl's ears make.
Graham is definitely aware of us eating, but we plan to wait until he's 5-6 months old before starting solid food like oatmeal. He can also sit up fairly well when he's leaning against something or in his Bumbo seat. He rolls about halfway over, but not completely over yet and he can scooch himself in a circle.
I am excited to see what the next 20 weeks will bring for Graham!
