Over the weekend my high school friend Beau dropped by for a visit. Beau now lives in Connecticut with his wife Amy, daughter Mallory and awesome pug Diego, so we don't get to see him very often. It is always fun when he does visit although we did miss the rest of the fam. We had a cookout at our house and Sara, Nick, Chris and David came over for lunch.
We played "pass the Graham" around and he managed to spit up on almost everyone. Here he is with Chris.

It rained so much my peonies are drooping!
But my tomatoes are doing quite well. This year I just planted four tomatoes next to the house (on the south side) and I am giving my garden spot a year off.
I also bought my first fern! I just love these and I think it makes our patio area look so much nicer.
And, wherever I am Tootsie is not far away. She has also become very gentle with Graham. He started tugging on her ears and pulling her fur. Tootsie just sits there or if she wants him to let go she licks his hand. I think she will be a protective dog when he's old enough to play outside.
This upcoming weekend we have a wedding to attend (Graham's second one).
