Well, Christmas has come and gone and we have entered 2015. I am finally remembering to write 2015 instead of 2014 on my checks. It only took me eight days! This year I have decided to set attainable goals and start living by better "rules". And, I really hope to blog more often. No one informed me how busy one is with two children who are 18 months apart. Eeek! NO TIME! And, Behrend is a great napper, but when he and Graham nap I run around trying to get ALL THE CHORES done before they wake up! So, I truly hope to continue on this blogging journey.
My goals for 2015 are:
1) Run a half marathon with Matthew
2) Continue on the Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover plan (we are DEBT FREE except for our house-woohoo!)
3) Fix up our house (take down the awful wall of wood in the dining/living room for sure!)
4) Grow my hair super long like Nellie!
My New Rules to Live By are:
1) Be 100 percent honest with myself and others...sometimes I will stretch the truth to not make others mad or uncomfortable, because sometimes it's easier. But I am tired of that. I want to just state a fact and move on. Life is too short.
2) Be in more photos. I take lots of pics of my kids, but I tend to just get photos of them or with Matthew, but I am there, too! I need to get in front of the camera once in a while.
3) Spend less, be content with what we have. I LOVE to shop. I come by it naturally as my grandma and mom are professional shoppers-ha! But, I know I don't need to spend $100 each time I go into Target. (How do you suck us in Target?) This ties in with our money makeover plan.
And, of course I want to be happy and healthy in 2015 plus we all want world peace, right?
