Most Tuesdays during the summer, my younger brother David can be found at Chataqua Park playing in a men's softball league.
Bows loves to go cheer on David or shall I say bark loudly and often for David. (Don't worry that's not Bows' cigerette butt....she quit a few days before this post.)
David's favorite position is first base and he gets to play that this year except when he's at bat.
When David was younger he played at the Floyd softball fields. He was always the biggest kid on the team, so the other teams would yell "Back up!" when he'd be at bat.
And, my Mom would yell "Run David Run" for a little inspiration to get around the bases. To this day she's not allowed to come to his games for fear she might start yelling that out in front of his peers. So not cool Mom when you're 28, but I find it hysterical.
Run David Run!
