Today is November 11. Today is Veteran's Day. Veteran's Day was established in 1919 by President Wilson as Armistice Day to honor the men (and now women) who give their all, including their lives for our great country. On June 1, 1954 the day was officially declared Veteran's Day and became a federal holiday.
My Dad was drafted for the Vietnam War and did a tour of duty in Vietnam. My husband enlisted then Sept. 11th happened and he was sent to Iraq. Both of these brave men were members of the U.S. Army.
Our country is able to stay a free nation thanks to the men and women who serve in the armed forces. Thank you to each and every one of you, but especially to my dad and husband! (And, thanks to all the restaurants that provide free meals for Veterans, which means I do not have to cook!)

Awesome to have two veterans so close to you! What a great example Graham has to look up to!
