Gobble Gobble! Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a very full and festive Thanksgiving! Matthew drove up to Sioux Falls to pick up Grandma Mae on Wednesday after school. She spent Wednesday and Thursday with us, and although she might not remember everything we did, she enjoyed living in the moment and winking at Graham's smiles.

We had dinner with Matthew's side of the family this year, so Graham and I went to see my grandparents on Wednesday and to wish my Grandma a happy 84th birthday. DSCN4785[1]

On Thursday morning Kayla and I did the Turkey Trot 5K at Adam's Nature Preserve. It was cold, but fun! Friends Alison and Michele jogged it, too.

Then we fixed the big meal.

(This is Matthew's crazy turkey face. Ha!)

(Don't worry Tootsie was not on the menu!)

We ate dinner at 4 p.m. and enjoyed good conversation and second helpings.

And, at the end of the night we transitioned to Christmas pajamas!
