Does anyone else feel like life is going at warp speed? Hmmm...anybody? Nobody? Okay....it must be me. Well, life for us is fast and I think part of this is because Matthew is gone pretty much all day Monday-Friday. That means on weekends we all just want to hang out instead of finishing up home remodeling projects. (Darn woodwork!)
1)ALL of the leaves fell off our tree!
Last week our tree was so full of leaves that I wondered if they'd ever fall off. This week we received lots of rain and some snow and now all the leaves are on the ground. Looks like Matthew needs to teach Graham how to rake leaves and pronto!
2) Eating healthy is hard....because I love to eat junky food.
I have been trying to eat healthier since I have not had much time for exercise....or I have not made much time for exercise. Every day I make myself eat a scrambled egg with spinach and green pepper and one piece whole wheat toast with natural peanut butter (and jelly!) so that I start my day off right. Snacktime is always an apple, too. Then when I cheat at dinner and dessert time I do not feel quite so bad.
3) Baby toys are so cute!
Every night after Graham goes to sleep this is what our living room looks like. His favorite thing to do is pull all of his toys out of the basket and play with them for about 3 second each before moving onto things he should not play with like the remote control or my cell phone or Tootsie's ear. Good thing it's easy to throw all the toys back in the basket.
4) My Mom is a crochet genius!
My Mom crocheted this sweater/jacket for Graham. It is adorable and zips up the back, so it's super easy to get on and off of him. Every time I put him in this I think of the little girl in Orange City who recently died after her sitter got mad that she would not take off her jacket and threw her. Seriously!? There are some messed up people in the world. Why did she not just let the little girl wear her jacket all day? If she got hot, she'd take off the jacket.
5) It's Friday!
Enough said.
