We had an odd weekend since we've been stoveless for six days. On Friday my brother celebrated his 30th birthday! So, we went to Sam's Club for a little shopping and Graham ate every sample in sight. Then we had my brother and parents over for pizza, lettuce salad and ice cream cake.
Saturday morning had me, Matthew and Graham out and about looking for a new gas range. We went to Lowes and they did not have anything in stock except for one and I was not impressed. So we went to Sears and they could get us one by today (Matthew picks it up tonight). Lowes also said it'd be 7-10 days before one arrived.
Then I hurried to the Discovery Shop for some holiday decorating, a memorial service and home to get the family before heading to Pizza Ranch to celebrate A's 3rd birthday! Graham was all over the place on naps, so Sunday we stayed home and Graham took two good naps. We did sneak out for a quick visit to my Aunt Paula and Uncle Bob's, but otherwise stayed home. And, I started working on my homemade Christmas presents!
Now we've got a busy week of installing a stove, prepping for turkey day and cleaning before Matthew's grandma arrives!
