Woo! What a busy weekend!
On Friday we received 4 inches of snow in Sioux City! Up north of town they received six inches....so Matthew had a snow day. He was not a happy camper, but I love having him home on Fridays. I told Matthew it was a great day to clean so he broke out the vacuum....then went crazy. He moved furniture, he got the vacuum attachments and he picked up dust on the floor, walls and ceiling! Graham loved it because his favorite household appliance is the vacuum! (Tootsie does not like the vacuum. Can you tell?)
I even got to sneak out for a quick lunch with Jerilynne and her family and a trip to the Dollar Tree. Woo-eee! Life is good.(Check out how adorable Memphis is!)
We had gone to a wedding rehearsal and dinner on Thursday night, so Graham did not get to bed until super late. But he was wide awake at 7 a.m. the next day--ready to play with Dad! Then we packed up Graham and he went to stay overnight at my parents' house while Matthew and I attended his friend Aaron's wedding. (Matt was a groomsman.) It was a fun night, but you can tell we are getting old when 10:30 p.m. is a late night for us.
(Matthew, Albert, Aaron the groom, Dave and Jon)
We picked up Graham at 10 a.m. on Saturday and stopped to take a picture with the Easter Bunny (Graham hated it!) before driving to Sioux Falls to see Matthew's cousins, spouses and kiddos plus Grandma Mae. It was a fun lunch and we are getting together again in May!
(Ummm...how adorable is Zachary!?!)
Before leaving town we visited Sertoma Park in Sioux Falls. Such a neat playground!! Then we all crashed Saturday night...well, I went to the grocery store then crashed.
Sunday we did church (Graham cried in the nursery again) then we shopped at Bomgaars, hung out at home, went on a short walk and celebrated Matthew's mom's birthday with a cookout. By Sunday night Graham was soooo tired that he went to bed at 7:30 p.m. with no fuss and was still sleeping at 7 a.m. when I woke him up Monday. Poor guy needs a weekend from his weekend.
Happy week!
