Graham is very close to turning 1 and a half years old! I am loving how much his language is developing and I know we will have the cutest conversations. He is starting to repeat more if I say "Graham say Grandma" or "Graham say Thank you".
New words/phrases:
"Daddy"
"Hi"
"Where's Tootsie?"
"Keys"
"Cheese"
Graham is getting pickier about food. He is not a fan of ground beef, but he will eat pork chops, hot dogs, and he loves to steal bites from my hamburger on a bun! I have been trying to think of more creative meals for him to eat, so last week we had a muffin tin lunch! And, anytime you give this kid some hummus or ranch or ketchup he will dunk everything in it. Graham also loves blueberries and pineapple.
Another big thing is the high chair has been put away and the booster seat is out. Some nights he thinks he should be able to eat dinner on my lap, but we are starting to buckle him into the booster and make him sit and try his food or no ice cream for dessert. That is a huge consequence for Graham....we think he inherited David's love of ice cream!
Graham ran a really high fever from a Sunday night to Wednesday morning. He went to Grandma and Grandpa LaBrune's for one day and took long naps. We assume it was teething, because he had swollen gums, but boy that kid does not like to let you into his mouth. I am glad he has not been a sick kid (knock on wood!), but I did appreciate the extra snuggles since he never sits still anymore.
We sre starting to take the pacifier away during the day and just allow it for naps and bedtime....and when he has huge tantrums! Yikes those are not fun.
Graham went in for his 15-month check up and he weighed 29 and a half pounds and was 33 inches tall. He wears mostly 24 month pants/shorts with 24 month or 2-3T shirts and is in size 6 shoes. I bought some 3T and 4T clothes for this fall. I am starting to wonder if Graham will be taller and bigger than his dad and Uncle David.
In just three months Graham will be a big brother, too! Hard to believe in eight months he will be 2 years old!
