Weekend Blog

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms I know! My day was good and we spent lots of time as a family. We even sneaked in a walk between rain showers. However, my week of celebrations began first with Jolene's birthday! We had lunch at House of Q and she gave me lots of sage advice about being glad to be able to age.

Then Graham and I stopped at Dairy Queen for an ice cream cone with G&G when it was so hot outside!

Afterwards we put water in our new pool from Pam and Larry along with some ice cubes. It was so hot the ice melted almost right away!

On Friday, we went to David's house and cleaned up the garden spot. Well, David cleaned it up and we watched him while someone was very whiney. I am excited to teach David everything I know about gardens. My favorite thing is to add fertilizer donated by horses.

On Saturday Graham accompanied me to the PACE Day River Clean-Up. It was quite cold and windy, but we found some trash and hopefully made an impact on the riverfront in SSC. Then we stopped at Judi's to pick up some donations and a cute little dresser for Baby #2. Afterwards we met Sara and Andy at the Milwaukee Railroad Museum while Matthew walked over 5 acres for his spraying business.

And, that brings us back to Sunday. We had dinner with my parents and grandparents and now I am stuffed! Happy week!
