Baby L.J. #2 (Week 29-31)

It is so true what people say about having multiple kids. That first pregnancy and baby gets documented down to every last detail....then your second one comes around and somedays I forget I am pregnant because Graham gets all my attention and energy. And....it's so true that 17-month olds do NOT slow down. I think Graham's normal speed is high energy aka let's see how fast we can wear down mama. Ha!

Graham has been going with me to my doctor's appointments and at first he was super scared. He relates the doctor to shots since that is the only times he's been to the doctor minus one trip for a case of croup when he was a little guy. Thankfully, now he knows it's just me that gets up on the table and we get out with minimal cries of "Mama"!

He's also getting really good at saying "Cheese!" when I take his picture.

Due Date: August 25, 2014--We are in the third trimester!

Gender: Let's call it baby.

Feeling: I had a dizzy spell a few weeks ago when I met Sara D. for lunch. I went home and slept for about an hour and a half then woke up and went back to work. Pretty sure it was a migraine headache starting. I hope to not get another one of those!
I also feel super front heavy. Like if someone pushes on me I will tip over. Ha! This baby moves constantly, which is so different from Graham, and most of the time I can't get comfy. Sleeping is still not going well and has not for the entire pregnancy. When I do sleep through the night I wake up so excited and share it with Matthew who looks at me like I am crazy.
And, this baby is very much head down pressing on my bladder. I go to the bathroom more than a kid going through potty training! And, while staying at Tom and Emily's house I had major stomach cramps which I thought were possible contractions. Pretty sure it was the ice cream that my lactose free self should not have eaten. Whoops!

Weight: Gained 25 pounds, but we still take our family walks each night after dinner. Some nights we let Graham walk up the big hill on the way home so he's really tired for bedtime.

Clothes: Same old, same old. I did order a cute dress from Old Navy this will be good for post pregnancy/nursing and a pink cardigan. My Mom is going to help me look for some cute pajama sets to wear in the hospital and I need to find my summer robe.

Doctor: Going to the doctor every two weeks.

Nursery: Mom and I found cute fabric for the nursery to make curtains and a new changing pad while we were in Omaha.

Things we need: Baby washcloths, crib mattress pad, onsies on the list, and cotton Halo sleep sacks.

Names: Not sure on first names. I am trying some of our names out to see Graham's reaction. He likes one of them the best!

8 Weeks until D-Day!
