It's Monday! And, poor little Graham was sound asleep when I went to wake him up at 7 a.m. this morning. He even cuddled with me in the rocking chair for a bit, which never happens. Usually he's up and zooming around as soon as his feet touch the carpet! But, we did have a very busy weekend...
On Friday Graham and I went to a rummage sale where Graham had his first huge public temper tantrum. I carried him kicking and screaming to the car and after I sat him in his carseat he threw himself onto the floor of the car. I think I pulled a muscle in my chest picking him up to put back into his carseat. Little stinker! Then Becca and her two littlest kiddos came over to visit!
Then my mom graciously watched Graham for a few hours so I could go to lunch and shopping with Jerilynne!
That night Matthew and I went to Kellee and James' going away party at the Irish pub while Uncle David watched Graham. (We made dinner for David and Graham, so they ate when we left. Then when we got home Graham ate some of our dinner we picked up--Jim's tacos and burgers, two bowls of applesauce, and cheese crackers!) He and David must have played hard in the backyard for two hours!
I am so going to miss Kellee, but I am excited for the new opportunities she and her family will be experiencing!
On Saturday we went for a family walk and stopped at Sunkist Bakery for a donut. We ran into Becca and Gianna, too! Then I did grocery shopping and we had Jon and Alex over for dinner. Matthew smoked his first beer can chicken. It was good and really easy! Oh and Graham ate dirt...again!
Then we had a slight plumbing problem....old houses = old pipes. So, Jon and Matt set to work figuring out the issue.
On Sunday, Graham and I went to church while Matthew worked on the plumbing then we had Father's Day brunch at Perkins with my parents and grandparents.
And, Matthew's parents stopped over for coffee along with his brother Mark. Then my friend Jennifer ran by on her way home from Omaha. It was a very busy weekend of visitors!
And, this little dog had better shape up or ship out. I never knew how high strung and problem makers Yorkies can be! (Of course, we are comparing her to our old-really old Schnauzer we had beforehand.) Darn Tootsie!
