This weekend was super busy with a wedding, out of town guests visiting (5), moving furniture, more unpacking and ArtSplash. Matt had never gone to the art festival, so we ventured down to the festival with the dog, who was wearing her adorable, new hot pink harness. However, dogs were not allowed...even though they let us into the festival with her.
So my parents took her home since they were on their way out and Matt and I went to look at art and eat yummy food. We had a lamb gyro and veggie noodles (yum!) and got Christmas presents bought. Then we met up with Nellie and Jennifer, who bought a beautiful necklace. It was a great day...a bit windy, but nice and sunny.
I loved looking at the art work although it was a bit pricey this year. I did not enjoy the random, abstract art that was in many booths. (Where would one put that? The basement?) Also, we did not even see the sand sculpture...I think that should be placed in the main area instead of by the kids stuff, because not many people without children go to the kids' side.
