Well, it's actually coming along and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
If you remember, this is what our bathroom looked like pre-remodel. Complete with ugly vanity and light combo, leaky faucet, and blue walls.
Thankfully, Matt bought plenty of insulation for the wall, a new window, and sheetrock.
One thing I have learned during this process is that my husband is a perfectionist...and I just like to get things done quickly. So, I have conceded and tried not to nag him too much about getting the bathroom done while he's managed to work fulltime during the spring-summer-fall and maintain a 3.8 grade point average at Wayne.
David came over to help me paint the walls after Matt painted the ceiling.
We chose Valspar's Oatlands Subtle Taupe, which looks gray or tan depending on the light.
It was a compromise, because Matt wanted a light color and I wanted a dark one.
So, he gets the lighter walls, and I get to pick out bright purple towels and rugs! :-)
I am hoping by March we are able to use our upstairs bathroom again.
I have also created a new rule:
No more home remodeling projects until Matt is done with college.

lol You are too funny. Good job to Matt, though! Wow, he's a busy guy, and still likes to do things right. . Try not to take that for granted! Trust me. :)

What an excellent job! Trust me - I live with a perfectionist too and it can be very frustrating but I too learned to just let him do it his way and things always look great and last a long time! We will have to come and take a look when you say it's finished.
