S is for Social Media and Baby (37 Weeks)

S is for Social Media and Baby....I love having a blog and posting pics of friends and family, but I always ask before posting photos of their children.  I think I'd like to post photos of my child on my blog, but I am not sure about Facebook.  So basically, I think Matthew and I want to be the ones to post pics of our child and since I do not do the smart phone thing the likelihood of us texting pics is slim to none.  So stay tuned to the blog once baby is born to see what we decide, and I guess Matthew will have to do the old fashioned phone calls once Baby L.J. is born to notify friends/family.

How far along? 37 Weeks

Baby’s Size: He/she weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel...similiar to a watermelon.

Weight Gain: +30 pounds

Bellybutton: Still there.

Stretchmarks: None yet.  But thanks to some leg/foot/ankle swelling I am wondering about vericose veins.  My Mom purchased me some compression socks at WalMart that I wear every day, just so I can get shoes/boots on my right leg.

Fitness:
Thursday-- 1 mile walk
Friday-- No walk
Saturday-- No walk
Sunday--  2 mile walk
Monday-- 1.5 mile walk
Tuesday-- 1.25 mile walk
Wednesday-- 1.5 mile walk
Total = 7.25 miles

Names: We plan to take our list of names with us to the hospital.

Gender: My mom told me she thought she was having a boy the entire time she was pregnant with me, so maybe I am having a girl? We will find out soon!

Baby Movement:  Moving and grooving in my tummy more than ever....you'd think this kid would be running out of room!  And, at the appt. this week the doctor said the baby is still head down.

Sleep:  Need it! Love it! Took a nap on Sunday with the dog.

Food:  Tried a new recipe for crockpot meatloaf. I definitely recommend it, especially if your husband makes it for you.   (Thanks Matthew!)  I've also realized that if I truly cut out all dairy then I feel better and thankfully Yoplait has created Lactose Free yogurt.

THINGS/PROGRESS TO DO:   Matthew put the glider together.  My Mom helped me go through our clothes and figure out the breathable bumpers for the crib.  I also finished up buying things I was sure we'd need like diapers and wipes, a bath tub, nursing supplies, and a crib mattress pad.

Best Moments of the Week:  Shopping with Becca and Gianna, and my Mom. Spending time with just me and Matthew (and Tootsie).  Watching the Wilson kiddos.
