T is for Time....We are at the point when Baby L.J. can come at any moment, so I am trying to keep our house picked up, make sure we have a stocked fridge and enjoying my freedom while I can. I love to go-go-go, so I am sure the biggest adjustment is being stuck at home for naps, feedings, etc. I have also not yet hit the "I don't want to be pregnant" wall, so for now we are planning to let nature take its course and the baby will come when he/she is ready.
How far along? 38 Weeks
Baby’s Size: 7-9 pounds, 20-21 inches long
Weight Gain: +30 pounds
Bellybutton: Poking out a tiny bit.
Stretchmarks: None yet. But my right foot is really taking all the pain from this weight gain/water weight. It hurts constantly when I walk or bend it, but I don't want to spend all my time at home with my foot elevated, so hopefully my foot will heal while the rest of my body does post-baby.
Fitness:
Thursday-- No walk (Junior League)
Friday-- No walk (Lazy!)
Saturday-- No walk (Pedicure!)
Sunday-- 2-mile walk
Monday-- 1.5 mile walk
Tuesday-- No walk (Groceries!)
Total = 3.5 miles
Names: We sat Tootsie on the couch and went through our list of names. She cocked her head at the boys' name I like...but it sounds very similiar to her favorite person's name. But her absolute favorite name is Tootsie Jr. I guess that seals the deal. Ha!
Gender: While Kellee and I were getting pedicures the two ladies painting our toe nails said they think I am having a boy.
Baby Movement: Constant. I am wondering how Baby L.J. has room to move around in there?
Sleep: I told Matthew we need to get as much sleep as possible now, so we slept in both Saturday and Sunday past 9 a.m. That's pretty late for us.
Food: Trying out crockpot meals and we've found a few good recipes (salsa chicken, bbq meatloaf, the Pioneer Woman's Comfort Meatballs). Anyone have other ideas?
THINGS/PROGRESS TO DO: Betsy, Nellie, Jennifer helped me hang up the festive pom-poms in the baby's room so we have ceiling decor. Betsy also helped me organize the bookshelf. We hired a doula, too! Rebecca also let me change Gianna's diaper and dress her, so that was good practice. And, Matthew put Gianna in her carseat and got it buckled!
Best Moments of the Week: All the time spent with friends and family.
