Happy Monday! I really enjoy how Monday feels like a fresh start each week. Sundays are always the end of the week for me and a time to cram as much family togetherness as possible. This weekend we did a lot of things, but we also spent Sunday at home. Graham practiced standing, too!
On Friday, Jerilynne and Memphis came over for lunch and a visit. We chatted for over three hours and the time just flew by! Memphis is getting so big! Here he is 3 months old and Graham is 7 months old. I think he's going to catch up to Graham very soon since they are only 8 pounds different (Memphis is 13, Graham is 21). Next time Jagger will have to come play, too!
Saturday brought lots of family from Sioux Falls! Matt's Grandma Mae, Aunt Barb, Uncle Dennis, cousin's daughter Anna, cousin Jenn and her husband Brent (and Baby boy J!) came for lunch and dessert and Matt's dad dropped by for a late lunch, too. Graham was on his best behavior and loved having Anna to play with! I looked over and he and Anna are just laughing and playing in the living room while the adults sat around the table talking. I am very excited for Jenn and Brent's little boy to arrive in November.
Four generations: Matthew, his dad Ken, Graham and Grandma Mae
I also made the Pioneer Woman's French Breakfast Puffs. Yum!!
Despite the heat and humidity Graham and I went for lots of walks. One with dad, one on our own and one with Becca and Gianna and Liam. We may have walked through a sprinkler, too!
Graham spent some time outside while I mowed the yard and Matthew sanded our bedroom door. Graham loves being outside and his new favorite activity is pulling the grass up, roots and all! This is not Matthew's favorite activity. Ha! I hope you enjoyed your weekend! Cheers to a new week!
