Hello fall!! It was a beautiful weekend in Iowa and I got to wear my favorite combo of a dress and boots and put Graham in a super cute cardigan set. Baby clothes are sooo cute!
Graham and I started our weekend on Thursday (since the babysitter was off last week) by having a lazy morning at home. We played with some new toys that I forgot I was storing in the basement (must get that darn basement organized!) before heading to Pizza Ranch for lunch with Uncle David.
Graham was having a super great lunch until I smelled a dirty diaper. So I took Graham along with the package of wipes and a diaper into the restroom. I got him all strapped onto the changing table and took his diaper off. That's when I realized he had an epic poop and I was down to one wipe (!!!) and there are NO paper towels in the bathroom at Pizza Ranch! That was a true experience.
We hung out at home the rest of the day and took a walk with Tootsie.
On Friday we went to Jerilynne's house for lunch and playtime with Memphis and Jagger. Jagger is so adorable and the way he says Graham is super cute! And, holy cow Memphis has gotten so big! He's so cuddly, too!
It is really fun to have other mom friends with kids similiar in age. I love asking my friends tons of questions about all things baby and being able to relate to lack of sleep.
Friday night David brought over pizza and I supplied lettuce salad. Then David and I snuck out for fro-yo and a trip to Old Navy while Matthew watched Hawaii 5-0. Then on Saturday Graham and I woke up early to head to Sioux Falls with Grandma Nancy. It was a fun day of shopping and a baby shower for Jenn and Brent. (Stay tuned for a blog about the shower tomorrow.) And, Graham got his first pair of shoes! Nevermind that they are size 5!
On Sunday we went to church. Afterwards we decided Graham is now going to the nursery since he talked during church and ripped my earring out of my ear. Then Matthew went to spray yards while Graham and I stopped by Michelle's house to pick up a Cozy Coupe (future blog about this soon). (Thanks Michelle and family!)
We ended the weekend with more swinging, grilling hamburgers and some TV on the computer. Good times!
