It's summer in Iowa. It's hot. The heat index has reached over 100. And, my brain is fried. So, I've started to think about Christmas (It's 150 days from today! Eeek!) Here are a few things on my wishlist for Christmas, including a new doggie bed for Bows. (see above)

I read this blog and am so glad he wrote a book!
I also read the Peas and Thank You blog daily and her recipes are delish!
Here is a quick shot of the flowers Matthew got me for our anniversary and my in-laws got us a cute planter. I might have to re-pot one of my house plants.
And, Bows wants to say hi. She has peanut butter in her beard. I wonder who gave her that?
