Girls' Weekend: Lincoln-style

Last weekend I went to Lincoln to stay at Nellie's with Jennifer, Betsy and Nellie for Girls Weekend: Lincoln-style. We ate dinner at Fortune Palace (delish!) and had Cherry on Top (frozen yogurt) for dessert. Then we did a little Target shopping. I thought Nellie should buy this backpack with the "itty bitty kitty". Ha! :-)
These shorts were a size 1! My one leg could fit in them...maybe. :-)

Betsy found the coolest thing ever. A slap bracelet watch! In the color pink, too! Jennifer was very impressed. :-)

I wish I had bought these sandals. They were gladiator shoes.

On Saturday we went to the Lincoln Farmers' Market, which is located in the Hay Market. It was hot, but fun. The girls got kolaches and limeades and I tried on some neat goat's milk perfume and lotion. Then we had lunch at Bison & Witch's. Great sandwiches!

More Farmers' Market finds.

We went swimming all afternoon then we had a great pasta bar dinner made by Betsy and Nellie. Afterwards we got all dolled up and picked up Nellie's mom to take her to the "cougar" bar called Grata. It was really fun to do each other's hair and makeup. It reminded me of college. We did not find any young men for Gloria, but we did find her a cute bouncer.

Then we dropped off Gloria and picked up Laura (Nellie's former roomie) who now lives near Nellie! We went to the Red 9, which had a live band (The Slangs) and a really neat atmosphere.

We stayed out until 3 a.m., ate fast food after going to the bars, and had a really relaxing weekend. Thanks for hosting Nellie! I can't wait to see you all in September!

P.S. Notice the neat white flowers we all have on? Betsy brought them to us from Hawaii!

(Thanks Betsy Boo!)
