The Christmas festivities have begun! At Junior League we decorated trees to be sold at the Discovery Shop. I even bought one. I guess the holiday spirit was catching!
On Saturday I actually slept in. This is what Matt found when he came back into the bedroom at 8:15 (my husband sets his alarm clock every single day, so he was up since about 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday!).
Bows loves to snuggle her nose underneath pillows and blankets.
And, Libby sleeps with her tongue hanging out. So cute.
Later that morning Matt, Libby and I headed to Menards to buy insulation and borrow their insulation blowing machine. I can't believe the poor old truck could hold this much weight.
Thankfully my brother David came over to assist. Then Matt's brother Mark and friend Aaron stopped by. It helps to have friends willing to breath in insulation and get very dirty.
This is what my patio looked like. We got most of it raked up on Sunday.
Libby and Bows kept investigating what Matthew was doing in the upstairs.
On Sunday we went to church, out to brunch with the family at Minerva's and stopped by the Peirce Mansion to see how well the Junior League is decorating it for the Red Cross Tour of Homes. They were doing a great job!
Then after shopping for a new matress (why are so many soft and fluffy?) we had to say goodbye to Libby. It was a fun week dog sitting her and she's welcome any time.
Now's it back to work and a week of no night meetings. Woohoo!
