Chris' actual surprise party started on Saturday evening. We went to El Allende for dinner and met up with Nick and Sara (more surprise visitors from Sioux City). After loading up on our carbs for the evening, Nick and Sara asked to see Chris' apartment. So, Matt, Betsy, Nellie, Brent and I made a mad dash to The Pearl to set up the balloons, cupcakes and steal some comfy chairs overlooking the Mississippi....and so Matthew could see the LSU football game.
Then we waited and took fun pictures.
