Tuesday Things copied from How Sweet It Is

One of my favorite blogs is How Sweet It Is.  Each Tuesday Jessica posts a list called Tuesday Things. Sometimes they are goofy, sometimes serious, and sometimes hilarious. Check out this week's post at http://www.howsweeteats.com/2011/11/tuesday-things-21/.  My friend Michelle (http://famtastic.wordpress.com/) also posts some great lists on her blogs.  People who write lists inspire me. My Mom is also a list maker.  She makes lists for my Dad and brother David, because they forget what you tell them two seconds after saying "When the timer goes off, please put the chicken in the oven."  My husband also has this lack of memory, so I make lists for him, too.  Now please take a look at my Tuesday Things list, which is actually a Wednesday Things list.

1)  My dog is so weird. Last night I tried to pick up a bug off the carpet, but Bows ate it.  Just swallowed it whole and looked at my like "Ha! I ate the bug before you! Na-na-na!"

2) Our neighbors love to throw stale bread, hamburgers, and cookies out for the squirrels. But, instead of the squirrels, Bows eats it.  She loves to cram an entire piece of bread in her mouth and try to swallow it whole before I can pull it out.

3) I love to be in my kitchen.  Last night we had enchiladas.  On Sunday we had chili. Tonight I plan to bake cookies for an upcoming road trip and make peanut noodle stir fry for dinner.

4) I put plain Greek yogurt on EVERYTHING -- chili, sweet potatoes, Mexican food, cookies, smoothies, baked potatoes, soup, you name it.  I also put peanut butter on a lot of stuff, too, and honey mustard. It used to always be ketchup.

5) Trick or treating was a lot of fun! I went with my friends the Wilsons and it reminded me of how much fun it is to see things through a child's eyes.

6) I sit next to very loud people on a daily basis. I don't think they know how loud they are.  It reminds me of a woman my mom overheard saying, "We LOUD people. We very LOUD people."

7) We went to a bonfire with our church group last week. Out of 7 couples there, three had adopted their children. I really love the idea of adoption and applaud those couples.

8) I'm trying to eat veggies at every meal, even breakfast. I put spinach or kale in my smoothies and you can't even taste it!

9) I plan to wear everything in my closet during 2012, or I will get rid of it.  I am going to impose the no-clothes shopping ban from January to April again, too. It really made me appreciate the clothes I have and to save money.

10) I want to go on an awesome vacation for my 30th birthday in February. Any ideas? I think Hawaii or Bora Bora sound great.

Happy Wednesday!
