10 Personal Questions Part I

What are you really good at? What are you really bad at?

**I am good at reading, writing, keeping in contact with friends and family, entertaining, cleaning, taking care of my dog and husband, and being friendly.**I am really bad at math, driving at night, seeing without my glasses, trying new foods, not gossiping and shopping too much.**

Have you ever been in a car accident? What happened?

**I have been through many cars....and some accidents. My first accident was in Oct. 2004 when I hit a deer head-on while driving home from Lincoln. I was on I-29 near Whiting when I came around a curve and there was a deer in the road. Bam! Luckily no one was behind me and I slammed on my brakes. The deer must have flown over my car and ran off, but it busted up my front end really bad. That car was totalled and I got a new one. In the fall of 2006, the same week that my Great Grandpa died, my car was hit....while it was parked on Morningside Ave. Whoever hit it (I am assuming the person was drunk) pushed it completely up on the parking and totalled it. That was not a fun phone call to get from the police at 2 a.m. The police never found who did it. There have been a few other scratches....gosh that garage just jumps out and gets my cars! And, a barricade in the middle of the interstate.**

Why did you attend college?

**I like to think it's because I wanted to...and everyone I knew was going. Plus I had no clue what I wanted to do and it gave me 4 years to make up my mind. I ended up changing my major 6 times before deciding on Mass Communication.**

Describe your morning routine today....

**I woke up at 6 a.m. when Matt's alarm went off. Then I rolled over and went back to bed until 6:30 when the dog started whining and barking to go outside and get breakfast. Then I stumbled around to make my smoothie for breakfast, made Matt an egg sandwich, did my make-up, brushed my hair, got dressed, and left by 7:50 a.m.**

Have you ever snooped through someone else's things? What did you find?

**I love to look in people's medicine cabinets. I am sure I snooped as a kid through things.**

What do you think happens when we die?

**I think we go to heaven...unless we have sinned really bad and it's unforgivable. Then we go to hell. Sometimes I struggle with this, but I remember from my mom's friend's Becky's funeral how we pictured her running through heaven saying hi to everyone. And, since she passed away young (at 56) I am sure they were saying "What the heck are you doing here already?"**

Are you superstitious?

**Yes. I knock on wood often. I make a wish at 11:11.**

Do people think you are younger or older than you actually are?

**Younger. Usually around 16-21. My mom says I will appreciate this when I am 40.**

How did your parents' relationship influence you?

**My parents never fought in front of my brother and I. I think that made me realize you can have difference, but the whole world does not need to see them. And, they show they care about each other. Plus my family is a big group of huggers.**

What were the three happiest moments of your life?

**When I graduated from college, when I adopted Bows, when I married Matthew.**
